Whether you are cruising down the highway with the windows down and the warm wind blowing through your hair or strolling through the park on Saturday, I’ve got 5 new bands from one of Ploomy’s favorite music sites theSixtyone.com to add to your collection.
As someone along with the many thousands of others told to “hit the streets” and “take a hike Jack” (not that they actually said this but you get my drift), starting the job search to find gainful employment in this market can be daunting and downright depressing.
After four and a half years at the same employer, I found that I needed to have my resume taken in for a tune-up if not a major overhaul. There are a lot of services out there that can help you out, from monster.com to theladders.com, which have services that start at $140 for entry-level services and go all the way up to $400 for executive services. I found that a new up-and-coming service resumedonkey.com can offer all that value for a lower cost.

A little disclaimer is that I’m actually friends with the owner of resumedonkey, (Morgan Brown) but when I got the news that he launched this business a couple months ago I thought the timing couldn’t be better. Resumedonkey is a network of leading business professionals, HR veterans and professional writers who use their writing skills and HR experience to create stand-out resumes that get noticed. They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and their resume services start at a low price of $49.95. They offer this service at this price because they realize:
“If you’re here it’s probably for one of two reasons:
1. You don’t have a job and desperately need help finding one
2. You have a job that doesn’t pay you enough and are looking to climb the ladder
Either way, you probably don’t have a ton of cash to spend; but still recognize the importance of getting your foot in the door.”
In the beginning of the year, we gave you a list of the Top 15 Songs to Get You Pumped Up. Now we are coming back at you with another 15 songs to get you pumped up, by you the readers. There were many comments and suggestions of songs that should be on the list so I picked out the best of the bunch and here they are. Whether you are a metal head or hip-hop fan, surely one of these songs will get you amped. If I’ve left something off the list, feel free to leave a comment and let me know.
As any young gentleman looking to throw a party knows only 2 things matter, one is girls or more specifically girl to guy ratio; two is music. Of course any wise man knows that a diverse mix of libations is the most important thing, but that goes without saying because if you don’t have drinks you don’t have a party. Now if you have good music then the ladies will come. It’s like a siren song of a good time. They know that there might be dancing or at least a good sing-a-long that might develop at the end capping off a great night. Here’s 10 songs guaranteed to get the party started and keep it rolling through the night.

15 Songs to Show Her You Have a Soft Side (Even If You Really Don’t)
April 22, 2008 | jkingsbury | 4 CommentsMen are by their very nature prickly beasts. As cavemen we had to hunt for survival back in the day. We had to create the wheel to make pots for porridge and to hold our beers. So because we’ve been hardwired primarily for survival, we are sometimes hard-headed and stubborn as mules. There are times when you need to help set the mood or just express emotions that don’t come easily. We need music to help us reach our softer side which is buried deep in our DNA. Here are 15 songs to show her you have a soft side (even if you really don’t).

There are moments in life when you need to get jacked up. They could be when you’re preparing for a big presentation, going to the gym, getting ready for a big game, going out for a run or just needing to feel the blood and adrenaline rushing through your veins to remind you that you are alive.
Music consisting of a pattern of sounds and silences constructed into an art form is the most consistent way that I know to get amped up. A top 10 list is too restrictive, so I busted out 15 highly diversified, high-octane songs to get you pumped up (in no particular order). Enjoy.

Looking back at the year in music is like going to the grocery store and looking at the fruits and vegetables selection. A lot of different varieties of apples, oranges and tomatoes just to name a few. Very much like music in 2007, there is little of everything for someone’s taste. Some things good, some things not so good. Focusing on the good stuff, lets feast on this in no particular order of course.
