My mother worked to raise eight children as a stay-at-home mother while my father worked as a policeman. She often got down on the floor and colored coloring books with us and made Barbie clothes. My mother found time to help us with flash cards to help us do better in school. She was never too busy to read us yet another book yet another time if that’s what we wanted. My sticky fingered hugs were always welcome as were my lollypop lip kisses. When mom would take the latest baby for a walk all the brothers and sisters accompanied her like little ducklings as we went to the park for some fun. The pictures I drew at school were always “perfect” and when my grades were low she would clear the dining room table and we would study together. Somehow Mom always had the time. I only hope that I have been the kind of mother to my sons that my mom was to me. I would wish I could send my mother flowers but I know that wouldn't begin to thank her for all that she has ever done for me.

My wife has put up with me for 40 years (will be 40 on April 5). We started dating when she was 16. She is still my punkin. She is the most giving and appreciative person I know. Thanks.

My wife is one of a kind. She is always making me laugh and not take things so seriously. Even if we are having a tiff, she turns it around until we both start to laugh. I really think this she has a special talent and outlook on life. She packs my lunch for work, and always puts in a special treat. Since I am diabetic, I cannot eat regular goodies, but she always makes sure there is a treat I can eat.
Then, I might be surprised with a note, or funny sticker on my sandwich! All my co-workers want to see what I have for lunch everyday and sometimes I have to share because they beg me for trailmix, or carrots sticks with ranch dressing. She really makes me feel special. I would love to send her flowers this Valentines to let her know how special she really is.

I would like to send flowers to my Mom. She's always been there in my life and extremely supportive. I sometimes resented this though growing up because she was always in my business and trying to get me to participate and do all these things to find out what I was good at. It wasn't until much later in life that I realized what she was really trying to do was help me become a better person. I'm still trying to become a better me, but it's my mom I will thank for giving me a good foundation. I think she deserves flowers everyday, but since I can't give them to her, once every year would be awesome.
