Michelle, I didn't mention Keyshia Cole, Fergie or Carrie Underwood in the review because I didn't hear any of their music. All the songs listed is music that I listened to that came out this past year. I did hear that Colbie Callait song a couple times but there are a lot of songs I heard that could be mentioned as well. I just chose the ones that stood out for me and tried to make it diverse and across as many genres as I could. I think music is in some ways a reflection of you or your personality and I listen to mostly male artists because of common or shared male experiences that are voiced in their songs. But both your and Jay's points are well taken.

I have to say, "Big Girls Don't Cry" was a pretty dope song.

Tom, I'm not saying Fergie necessarily has great talent...just saying she had a top-selling album that got a lot of radio play.

nice wrap-up. I actually have 6 of the albums you mentioned. Thrash Unreal looks like a winner.

Are you kidding me michelle? you think fergie is worthy of praise in 2007? I have no problem with the others, but I find it hard to say fergie has real talent.
